Ellen Morris Named to Women Leaders in Law List by Florida Trend

BOCA RATON, January 9, 2024 – Ellen Morris has been named to Florida Trend’s 2024 Women Leaders in Law List. The list recognizes the significant progress in gender representation within U.S. law schools and the legal profession while spotlighting women leaders who have made an impact on the legal industry. 

Morris concentrates her practice on elder law and special needs law transactions and litigation. She is a devoted advocate for her clients and participates in elder law and special needs law-related legislative initiatives, devoting much of her time to analyzing new laws and regulations affecting seniors, people with disabilities, and their families who require government services and protection. Morris is past chair of the Elder Law Section of the Florida Bar and co-chair of the Joint Public Policy Task Force for the Elderly and Disabled. She is a Washington Club and Congressional Club member of American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) and on the executive committee of AIPAC of South Florida. She frequently lectures on a variety of elder law topics, including Medicaid qualification and special needs trusts for disability planning.
