Joseph McCormack

Counsel

Jack concentrates his practice on high-stakes civil litigation, including products liability, catastrophic injury, and other complex commercial disputes. He also represents corporate clients in the automotive, consumer goods, retail, hospitality, and entertainment sectors. Jack has extensive experience handing cases from inception through trial, including appearing at mediations, depositions, and court hearings, drafting motions, and preparing opening/closing presentations.

Before joining Cozen O'Connor, Jack was an associate in the products liability and toxic tort groups of another Am Law 100 firm, where he represented Fortune 500 companies in multi-million-dollar litigation, serving as lead attorney on high exposure cases. In previous roles, he managed active case loads of civil law suits pertaining to product liability, toxic tort, catastrophic injuries, wrongful death, employment claims, complex commercial disputes, and breach of contract claims.

Jack earned his law degree from the Santa Clara University School of Law and his bachelor of business administration from Loyola Marymount University, where he was a member of the school's D1 men's soccer team. During law school, he served as a judicial extern to the Honorable William J. Monahan of the Superior Court of Santa Clara County.
