Ashley Gomez-Rodon

Associate

Ashley focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation in Cozen’s Miami office. She has experience defending companies in a wide variety of cases, including those in securities, corporate governance, contract disputes, class action, trade secret theft, RICO, turnover disputes, and other business litigation. Ashley has tried cases to verdict in both state and federal court and arbitrated matters to final award. She has also drafted appellate briefs.

Prior to being a summer associate and ultimately joining the firm, Ashley was a high school mathematics teacher for three years with Teach for America at North Miami Senior High School. She was then a litigation assistant for a Texas law firm and a judicial intern for the Honorable Darrin P. Gayles, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.

Ashley earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Florida, and she earned her law degree from the University of Miami School of Law, magna cum laude. While in law school, she was a Miami Scholar and earned a certified concentration in Litigation and Dispute Resolution. She also served as executive editor of the University of Miami Law Review and as a research assistant to Professor Andres Sawicki.

Cozen O’Connor announced that commercial litigation attorneys Jason Domark and Ashley Gomez-Rodon from its Miami office and Aaron Krauss from its Philadelphia office authored chapters of the American Bar Association’s (ABA) latest book, titled Litigating Fiduciary Duty Claims. Additionally, Domark served as editor of the publication.
