Charleen is a dual-practice lawyer with a focus in Business Law and Private Client, Estates & Trusts.
In her business practice, Charleen assists clients with a range of corporate and commercial transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, private debt and equity financings, corporate governance, business formation and structuring, and the negotiation and drafting of commercial contracts.
In her private client practice, Charleen works with a diverse clientele, including business owners, entrepreneurs, and individuals at various stages of financial growth. She focuses on wills, trusts, and incapacity planning; asset protection and wealth preservation; and succession planning.
Before joining the firm, Charleen was an associate at a leading regional firm, where she gained valuable experience in corporate and commercial transactions as well as estates and trusts matters.
Charleen earned her J.D. in 2019 from the Peter A. Allard School of Law and received her B.A. in International Relations from the University of Calgary in 2015.
In addition to her legal career, Charleen is a published author and musician. She is also fluent in iSiNdebele.
