Katlyn Slough

Associate

Katlyn is an associate in Cozen O'Connor's litigation department with excellent research and drafting skills. Before joining the firm as an associate, Katlyn participated in Cozen O'Connor's summer associate program in 2022. She also served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Terrence Zic of the Appellate Court of Maryland.

Katlyn earned her J.D., summa cum laude, from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law, where she was executive articles editor for the Maryland Law Review. She earned her B.A. in writing arts from Rowan University and her M.F.A. in creative and professional writing from William Patterson University.

Larry Prosen and Kat Slough discuss the Supreme Court's decision in Smith v. Spizzirri, that unanimously held that Section 3 of the FAA requires courts to stay, rather than dismiss, proceedings pending arbitration upon a party’s motion.
